Adjunct Professor Parvez Ahmed works as a technology and litigation consultant for Cisco. In previously taught undergraduate courses on Islamic law and Islamic civilizations at the University of Arkansas and Wayne State University. He has had extensive training in Arabic and Islamic law as a graduate student and additional coursework at the University of Chicago and the American University in Cairo. While in law school, he served as senior editor for the University of Arkansas School of Law’s Journal of Islamic Law and Culture. He frequently lectures on topics related to Islam and the Middle East at various campuses and religious and academic institutions around the country. Ahmed teaches Islamic Law and Jurisprudence.
