Gary Loeb

Adjunct Professor

Gary is General Counsel at Counsyl.  Prior to joining Counsyl, Gary was VP, IP at Genentech and General Counsel, SVP at Amyris.  Although Gary’s background is IP, collaborations and life sciences, his highest passion is helping the business navigate uncharted legal territories resulting from breakthrough technologies. Gary received his BS (Biology) and BA (English) from Stanford and his JD from Columbia Law School. He currently serves on the Advisory Board for Stanford Law School’s Center for Law, Science and Technology.
