Adjunct Professor Saltzman served as a professor of law, teaching a variety of criminal law and criminal procedure related courses, at the University of Detroit Mercy from 1976 until his retirement in 2008. Before teaching at University of Detroit Mercy, he was a law professor at the University of Nebraska and at the University of Oklahoma. In 2009, he was a visiting law professor at the University of San Francisco and at Seattle University. He teaches Criminal Trials in Film.
