Advocacy Programs
Through its Advocacy Programs, USF strives to provide students a realistic sense of the rewards and challenges of practice after law school. The program also aims to give students, alumni and practitioners a forum for collaboration.

Our Advanced Moot Court Advocacy Competition Teams compete against other law schools both locally and nationally in an average of 11 competitions per year. USF competes in appellate, trial and negotiation competitions. Every year approximately 50 law students participate on various advanced competition teams. These students argue a multitude of subject matters, including constitutional law, admiralty law, environmental law, intellectual property law, international law and more.
USF is eager to have practitioners and alumni participate in our Advocacy Competition Teams programs as coaches, advisors or sponsors. For more information about how you can participate, please contact Brandi Crippen.
Questions and comments regarding the Advanced Advocacy Teams can be directed to Coordinator Brandi Crippen at cbcrippen@gmail.com or 415/422-4383.
