  1. When is the Centennial Gala?   Thursday, February 7, 2013
  2. What time does it start?   6:00 p.m. Cocktail hour,  7:30 p.m. Dinner
  3. Where is the Centennial Gala?  San Francisco City Hall - Use the 1 Dr. Carlton B. Goodlett entrance, which is what Polk Street is called, between McAllister and Grove Streets. 
  4. How much does it cost to attendWhat is the ticket price?   The ticket price is $300 per person. 
  5. What if I want to sponsor a table?  There are also table sponsorship opportunities available.  For sponsorship information please contact Robin Keating, Director of Development at 415-422-2551.

  7. Is City Hall accessible for disabled visitors?  San Francisco's historic City Hall has been renovated to be fully accessible to people with disabilities, including the addition of audible infrared signage for individuals who are blind or visually impaired.
  8. Where can I park?  Metered parking is available on Van Ness, McAllister, Grove, and Dr. Carlton B. Goodlett Place.  A CityPark underground parking lot is located on McAllister, between Dr. Carlton B. Goodlett Place and Larkin.   9. What about public transit?  For public transportation assistance, please visit the 511.org trip planner. The nearest BART and MUNI train stations are at Civic Center. 
  10. Do you have taxi information?   San Francisco taxi services include: Yellow Cab (415-333-3333); Luxor Cab (415-282-4141); and DeSoto Cab (415-970-2300).  These companies take credit cards and reservations.  If you are staying at a hotel, the door attendant can summon a taxi for you. 
  11. Is there a special rate at any San Francisco hotels?  Yes! These rates are available through January 18th, so please make your reservations early

    Reservations may be made online by clicking here to obtain a special rate of 179/night: $179 Deluxe Rooms.  This rate is available at the Parc 55 Hotel only on two nights:  Thursday 02/07/2013 and Friday 02/08/2013.

  1. What's the dress code?  What do I wear?  The invitation is "black tie optional" which encourages, but does not require, formal wear.
  2. Is there dancing?  Is there a program?   No, but there will be a program featuring best -selling authors Scott Turow and Prof. John Osborn in a conversation about Legal Education in the 21st Century, moderated by Dean Jeffrey Brand.
  3. How long does the Gala evening last?   It will be over by 11:00 p.m.  The CityPark underground lot will be open until midnight.
  4. Is there a formal invitation?  Yes, you should have received one right after Christmas.  The invitation will request that you register for this event by phone or by visiting our website at http://www.usfca.edu/law/about/centennial/galadinner
  5. What if I have dietary restrictions or food allergies?  Please advise us at the time of your registration and we will do the best we can to reasonably accommodate you.
