Rev. Ralph E. Metts, S.J., Adjunct Professor in the Catholic Educational Leadership program in the Department of Education, is member of the Maryland Province Society of Jesus. He received a B.A. in English from Fordham University, a M.A. in English from the University of Scranton, a M.ED. in Learning and Reading Disabilities from Columbia University and an ED. D. in Special Education: Learning Disabilities from Columbia University. Fr. Metts served the Jesuit Secondary Education Association (JSEA) for twenty-two years, first as vice president and then as president. Fr. Metts also served as a learning specialist for the five Maryland Province Jesuit high schools for nine years.
