Daniel Kendall, S.J., has taught Scripture and Theology at the University of San Francisco since 1979. After earning his doctorate in Rome he taught for 4 years at Gonzaga University in Spokane before coming to San Francisco. His specialty is the “Letters of St. Paul.” In addition to fulltime teaching he is also book review editor for Theological Studies. He oversees the purchase of 200+ books each year for the Quarterly, selecting the reviewers, and editing the material they turn in.
