WINDOWS XP: RECONFIGURE YOUR SYSTEM BACK TO ENGLISH

When your system is configured for Japanese, you may notice a few unexpected (but harmless) differences with your system. Slash characters may read as yen symbols and date/time properties may include Japanese.

You may prefer to reconfigure your system back to English when you're not going to be using ROBO-SENSEI or typing Japanese for some time. Print out a hard copy of this page for ease of reference.

1.

From the “Start” menu, choose “Settings” then “Control Panel.”

2.

Open “Regional and Language Options.”

3.

Click the “Languages” tab at the top of the “Regional and Language Options” window. Click on “Details."

4.

Click the pull-down list under “Default input language,” choose “English,” and click OK.

5.

Click OK again. Done!
