Please follow these steps carefully! ROBO-SENSEI will not function properly without the right software and configurations.

3. Enable Japanese Typing After Step 2 "Configure Japanese Support..." you should have been prompted to reboot your computer. In Step 3, you'll learn how to use the Japanese IME language bar. (If you can't immediately access the language bar, click "Start Lessons!" on the ROBO-SENSEI homepage, choose the ROBO-SENSEI module you want to practice and click the link to the program, which will activate the language bar.)

HOW TO RECONFIGURE YOUR SYSTEM BACK TO ENGLISH

1.	Look at the extreme right side of the Windows “taskbar” (across the bottom of the screen). If you see a square blue icon with “EN”, click on it and you will see a pop-up menu with “Japanese” and “English” as options. Select “JP” (Japanese) to switch on the system’s Japanese writing facility.
2.	Then, you will see the Japanese IME toolbar above the icon. The toolbar will have an “A” (Input Mode), which represents Roman characters (the default character selection). Clicking A reveals a menu of other possible writing systems.
3.	Choose “Hiragana” (H), and then the button will change to for typing in hiragana.
4.	To go back to English input mode, click on the button again, and choose “Direct Input” (C). The button will go back to A to type Roman characters.
5.	You can also switch between A and by holding down the Alt key and hitting the tilde (~) key.
6.	If you want to type your name in katakana, click on the or A button (depending on your current mode).
7.	Choose “Full-width Katakana” (K), and then the button will change to for typing in katakana.
