USFconnect

USFconnect accounts provide access to email, a calendar, group tools, current information and links, online course tools, university resources, and campus news and events. USFconnect is web-based, so students can log in from any computer with a connection to the internet. The web address is http://usfconnect.usfca.edu.

Your USFconnect account should be available once you begin your academic career at the University. Your username and password/PIN will be mailed to your home address. You can also come to the Help Desk in Lone Mountain North if you not receive your mailer.

Students can obtain grades, degree audits, financial records, and other personal records online via the USFconnect. Just log into USFconnect, click on the School Services tab, and click on the link for Web for Students.

For more information on USFconnect, check out our USFconnect FAQ page .

LAN (Network) Account

Your LAN (local area network) account provides you with access to the USF network and it includes the creation of a personal folder on the Donna drive for document storage purposes. Your username and password are the same as your USFconnect username and password/PIN. Check out our online documentation on how to access the USF network and Donna Drive from your personal computer.

USFwireless

USF has multiple wireless hotspots on-campus. To access the wireless network, you use the same USFconnect username and your LAN password (usually the same as USFconnect). For more information, check out our USFwireless page.

Pubnet

PubNet is a publicly accessible network designed for use with network-ready laptops (i.e., equipped with an Ethernet adapter). Users must complete a registration procedure before communications are allowed outside the local network to the Internet. For more information, check out our website on Pubnet.
