Student Computer Account Information
All registered USF students are eligible for the accounts described below.
If you have additional questions, check the ITS
FAQs or contact the ITS Help Desk in Lone Mountain North, 2nd Floor
(415-422-6668 from off-campus, x6668 on campus). You can also submit requests
for assistance via email to itshelp@usfca.edu.

USFconnect Account:
email, campus information, grades, online registration and more
LAN Account: USF network
account for accessing computer lab computers, file sharing, network printing
Wireless Account:
use your laptop to access the Internet from one of USF's wireless hotspots
Pubnet: use your laptop
to access the Internet from Gleeson Library/Geschke Learning Resource Center
and Zieff Law Library
USFconnect
USFconnect accounts provide access to email, a calendar, group
tools, current information and links, online course tools, university
resources, and campus news and events. USFconnect is web-based, so
students can log in from any computer with a connection to the internet.
The web address is http://usfconnect.usfca.edu.
Your USFconnect account should be available once you begin your
academic career at the University. Your username and password/PIN
will be mailed to your home address. You can also come to the Help
Desk in Lone Mountain North if you not receive your mailer.
Students can obtain grades, degree audits, financial records, and
other personal records online via the USFconnect. Just log into USFconnect,
click on the School Services tab, and click on the link for Web for
Students.

LAN (Network) Account
Your LAN (local area network) account provides you with access
to the USF network and it includes the creation of a personal folder
on the Donna drive for document storage purposes. Your username and
password are the same as your USFconnect username and password/PIN.

USFwireless
USF has multiple wireless hotspots on-campus. To access the wireless network,
you use the same USFconnect username and your LAN
password (usually the same as USFconnect). For more information, check out our USFwireless
page.
Pubnet
PubNet is a publicly accessible network
designed for use with network-ready laptops (i.e., equipped with an Ethernet
adapter). Users must complete a registration procedure before communications
are allowed outside the local network to the Internet. For more information,
