Subject: Administrative Information System Update

After extensive community input and analysis, the core procurement team for a new USF administrative information system made its recommendation to the executive steering committee yesterday. The recommendation was that we place SunGard SCT in the leadership position and proceed into negotiations, with Datatel in the backup position. The recommendation was approved. Next steps will include refinement of the proposed implementation time frame and budget, followed by final pricing and contract negotiations.

Many thanks to the more than 150 USF community members who have participated in this procurement process since we began gathering requirements in January of this year. We look forward to reaching an agreement with SunGard SCT and moving forward with implementation.
