Subject: Core Admin System (ERP) Project Update

Dear Colleagues,

After three weeks of presentations, the demonstrations for three potential ERP vendors – SunGard SCT, Datatel, and Oracle/PeopleSoft – are over. Big thanks to all community members who took time out of their busy schedules to attend and provide feedback on the various sessions.

Starting August 2 the ERP Procurement Team (Martha Peugh-Wade, HR; Kim Kvaal, Finance; Kristopher Young, Advancement; Archie Porter, Student Information; Beth Forest and Steve Gallagher, ITS), in conjunction with Gartner Consulting, begins the process of evaluating feedback gathered, interviewing vendor references, and reviewing the vendors’ RFP responses. Provided no outstanding questions remain after the two week evaluation period, the ERP Procurement Team plans to present its vendor recommendation to the ERP Steering Committee.
