The Blackboard 9 Jumpstart workshop is designed to encourage and support efforts for improving instruction and student learning for instructors who have little or no experience, using Blackboard 9. Participants will be encouraged to make use of many of Blackboard's course management features including:
* navigating the course Home Page
* customizing Blackboard’s menu
* posting a Discussion Board forum
* using the Assignment feature
* uploading a syllabus, course handouts and/or other course documents
* using the private journal or wiki feature
* creating a group area
* creating a mashup
* setting up the Grade Center feature
