Blackboard For Faculty

Blackboard is a powerful course-authoring tool that allows you to extend the classroom or create a totally online learning environment. Blackboard features include threaded discussion forums, digital drop box for submission of student assignments, online gradebook, document sharing and e-mail messaging.

Access

You can access Blackboard via your USFConnect account at http://connect.usfca.edu/ 7 days a week anytime and anywhere. You can also access Blackboard directly at URL: http://blackboard.usfca.edu.

Password

Your Blackboard password is synchronized with your USFconnect password. If you do not know your USFConnect username and password, contact the ITS Help Desk at 415-422-6668 or in person. See help.usfca.edu for service hours and locations.

You and your students should be familiar with online netiquette. Taking an online class presents new challenges and new situations.
