Do you know about 'GradeMark' in Blackboard 9?

TurnitinBlackboard 9 offers many updated and new features including Turnitin's GradeMark. With Turnitin and GradeMark, instructors can do the followings: view an originality report, grade a Turnitin assignment online (the grade automatically transfers to the Blackboard course Grade Center), provide the student detailed inline highlighting of text, and offer generous instructor comment.

Instructors can opt to not use the originality report and may just choose to use GradeMark for easy and quick online grading. To learn more about how Turntin and GradeMark work, join us for a workshop or visit the Blackboard 9 wiki. Workshops will be offered on Oct. 5 from 3-4pm, Nov. 3 from 3-4pm, Nov. 29 from 11-12pm, and Dec. 8 from 2-3pm.

iWork Suite Training -
Keynote, Pages, and Number

iWorkThis new series of workshops will teach the basics of using Keynote for presentations, Pages for easy word processing and page layout, and Numbers for spreadsheets. These classes will introduce Mac users to an alternative to the Microsoft Office Suite.

Tip of the Day

Inserted web links taking too long to load from your Powerpoint presentation? Need a smooth way to move between a slideshow and other documents, media and websites? Try using Command-tab (Mac) and ALT-tab (PC) to seamlessly switch between Powerpoint and any other program. Open the documents, web sites or programs that you want to show and then begin the slideshow. Now use the keyboard commands to move from the presentation to the other open items without escaping out of the show. When you switch back to Powerpoint, you're back in the show at the place you left off!
