Using lynda.com, university members can now improve their technology skills by accessing the hundreds of high-quality tutorials, including Microsoft Office, Adobe, Blackboard, SPSS, and many more.
This service is accessible through USFconnect, under the Learning Technologies tab. Questions? Email firstname.lastname@example.org. [ IMPORTANT: Do not attempt to login directly through the lynda.com website. This service is accessible only through single-sign-on in USFconnect.]

Do you know about 'GradeMark' in Blackboard 9?
Blackboard 9 offers many updated and new features including Turnitin's GradeMark. With Turnitin and GradeMark, instructors can do the followings: view an originality report, grade a Turnitin assignment online (the grade automatically transfers to the Blackboard course Grade Center), provide the student detailed inline highlighting of text, and offer generous instructor comment.
Instructors can opt to not use the originality report and may just choose to use GradeMark for easy and quick online grading. To learn more about how Turntin and GradeMark work, join us for a workshop or visit the Blackboard 9 wiki. Workshops will be offered on Oct. 5 from 3-4pm, Nov. 3 from 3-4pm, Nov. 29 from 11-12pm, and Dec. 8 from 2-3pm.
iWork Suite Training -
Keynote, Pages, and Number
This new series of workshops will teach the basics of using Keynote for presentations, Pages for easy word processing and page layout, and Numbers for spreadsheets. These classes will introduce Mac users to an alternative to the Microsoft Office Suite.
