ITS FAQs - Using a Web Accelerator at Home?
A number of dialup services are now offering web accelerators, which are applications designed to help speed up dial-up connections. We have discovered, however, that many of these web accelerator applications are incompatible with USFconnect. ITS is working with SCT engineers (the software provider for USFconnect) in an effort to resolve the situation. Until a solution is provided for USFconnect, if you use a web accelerator and you are having problems accessing USFconnect you will need to disable the web accelerator.

If you have the following Dialup providers you can find out how to disable it:

Juno

Netzero

Earthlink

If your provided is not listed here we suggest you go to the support page for your ISP and search for information on how to disable their web accelerator.
