Financial Aid

International students are expected to have sufficient funds to pursue their studies in the United States. The University of San Francisco does not offer financial assistance to newly admitted international students.

A limited number of International Grants may be available for undergraduate students who: (1) are in Junior status, (2) have completed two years (32 units) of study at USF, (4) have maintained a "C" average, and (3) have demonstrated financial need. The amount awarded varies year-to-year. This grant is meant to assist in their tuition, not cover 100% tuition cost. For more information, contact the One Stop Enrollment and Financial Services office at (415) 422-2020 or onestop@usfca.edu or visit Lone Mountain, Room 251. Students are encouraged to schedule an appointment.

The application filing period for grants generally opens in February for the following academic year.

Financial aid for international students in general is very limited. ISSS office does not provide any financial aid assistance.  If you are in need of financial aid, email usfcares@usfca.edu to make an appointment to speak with a Financial Services office.
