Tutoring
Free tutoring for IEP students is available by appointment every week during the summer (limited hours). Tutoring for IEP students is
offered by the Learning & Writing Center.
Language Lab
The Language and Culture Center (LCC) includes three technology-enhanced rooms
that provide technical support services for the instruction of foreign
languages, literatures, and cultures. The LCC Resource Room in Cowell G-02 is
available for IEP students to view language-related media. The LCC Resource Room also
includes two smaller rooms inside, which are used for student tutoring.
USF Facilities, Resources & Events
IEP students receive
a USF identification card and have use of USF facilities such as the Gleeson Library (IEP students have
full borrowing privileges), computer labs, and on-campus events. IEP students can attend lectures, sporting
events, movies, performances and other events held on campus.
Koret Health and Recreation Center
The USF Koret Center is a modern recreation center with an Olympic-size swimming
pool, weight room, exercise machines, and basketball courts. The Koret Center
also sponsors trips to sports games (e.g., professional baseball and football
games), ski trips, river rafting trips, and other excursions. IEP students can
buy membership for a month for $35, or can pay
$10 per visit.
International Student and Scholar Services
International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) promotes a global perspective for the
USF community through educational and programmatic outreach while fostering the
holistic development of international students/scholars by providing support
services and immigration advising. IEP staff members are available by
appointment for visa and immigration counseling.
