Peer Education

The Health Promotion Services formed a voluntary peer education program to provide compassionate, confident University of San Francisco students with the opportunity to make a difference in the USF community.

Peer educators play an integral role in maintaining a healthy USF community. For students struggling to find their place on campus or develop healthy habits, peer educators act as credible, non-judgmental resources that can influence the behavior of their peers. Every semester, the Health Promotion Services recruits peer educators, who will volunteer their time to work in our department. More information here.

Another volunteer opportunity that students can take advantage of is by joining our Health Outreach Street Team. In this program, students will be able to volunteer at our tabling and events occasionally. More information here.
