Peer Education

Health Promotion Services formed a voluntary peer education program to provide compassionate, confident University of San Francisco students with the opportunity to make a difference in the USF community.

Peer educators play an integral role in maintaining a healthy USF community. For students struggling to find their place on campus or develop healthy habits, peer educators act as credible, non-judgmental resources that can influence their peers’ behaviors.  Every academic year, Health Promotion Services staff recruit volunteers in the Spring semester for the following Fall semester internship.
