Founded in 1984, the Green & Gold Club has the primary responsibility of raising funds for the University of San Francisco’s Athletic Department. The Green and Gold Club is a volunteer organization dedicated to promoting the interest and objectives of the University of San Francisco by providing scholarship and program fundraising for intercollegiate athletics.
Achieving athletic excellence is a team effort. Financial support from alumni, parents, friends, and former athletes gives our student athletes the competitive edge they need to realize their dreams. Green & Gold Club members actively pursue a number of annual events that provide excitement, enjoyment, and additional funding for athletics. The activities include luncheons featuring coaches and athletes, the annual John Swanson Golf Tournament at the Olympic Club, post-game receptions, and club-sponsored trips to various away games.
