The Koret Health and Recreation Center
The University of San Francisco Department of Recreational Sports is proud to present The Koret Health and Recreation Center. This state-of-the-art facility was developed by the University of San Francisco in collaboration with alumni, special donors, and the Koret Foundation. Since its opening in 1989, the Koret Center has provided an outstanding recreational and fitness environment for USF students, faculty, staff, alumni and members.
We offer one of the most outstanding recreational and fitness facilities on the West Coast. Our Koret Center includes an Olympic-sized swimming pool, Lifecycles, turbo bikes, stairmasters, rowing machines, and Nordic Track machines. The Center also has a fully equipped weight room, a fully- padded martial arts room, and an aerobic/dance room.
Counseling and Psychological Services
The mission of the University of San Francisco Counseling and Psychological Services is to provide students with mental health services that allow them to improve and maintain their mental well-being and to meet their educational, personal, emotional, and spiritual goals. Our goal is to assist USF students’ learning by helping reduce psychological symptoms and developmental stressors, cope with difficult life events, and balance academic and social life. CAPS accomplishes these functions by providing high-quality, time-effective, and culturally sensitive counseling, consultation, outreach, and training.
