The Fromm Institute welcomes retired people regardless of their educational background. The desire to learn is the sole criterion for membership. A modest membership fee entitles students to take up to four courses a session with scholarships available for those in need.

Classes meet once a week, in the morning or afternoon, over eight weeks. The three sessions of the academic year run from September to November; January to March; and April to June.
