Adjunct Professor of Finance and Entrepreneurship

Professor Lawrence Louie is the Faculty Advisor, School of Business Incubator and the Co-Director of the School of Business and Management New Venture Center. While at USF, Lawrence has worked as the Assistant Dean of the School of Business and Management and the Interim Director in the MBA Program.

As the Assistant Dean, Lawrence pioneered the MBA Career Services Department and implemented the extremely successful Full-Time Cohort Program. His skills as an educator have also been recognized by USF; he has been given the Award for Student Advocacy, Outstanding Adjunct Professor of the Year for the MBA program and Professor of the Month by the Graduate Business Association. Previous to his work at USF Lawrence was one of the founders of Alibris. He successfully built the company from a two-employee startup to over 135 employees and over forty million dollars in revenue. He is currently teaching "Financial Statement Analysis" at a graduate level within the School of Business and Management.
