As a Term Assistant Professor in the School of Business and
Professional Studies, Mitchell Friedman teaches MBA classes on
Management Communication and undergraduate business classes on
Management and Organizational Dynamics. In addition, Mitchell
serves as the Director of Professional Development. In this
capacity, he seeks to enhance career skills, knowledge, and job
readiness of USF MBA students.
During his tenure with the USF MBA program Mitchell has overseen
job placement and career development for over 300 MBA students. In
his previous role as the Director of MBA Career Services he built
and managed relationships with more than 200 employers, generated
hundreds of opportunities for jobs, internships, and classrooms
projects at Bay Area for-profit and nonprofit organizations and
improved student abilities to create internship and project
Mitchell also provides communications consulting and training to
organizations such as Ask Jeeves, Bank of America, California
Resources and Training, and the Diocese of Oakland. He also has
been an adjunct instructor at West Virginia University, Golden Gate
University, University of California, Berkeley Extension, and San
Jose State University.
Mitchell currently is President of Phi Delta Kappa (Chapter #1484)
and a member of the Academy of Management and the American
Educational Research Association.
