Senior Military Science Instructor

Master Sergeant Morell Coleman is a highly accomplished leader who aims to share his knowledge, management experience and passion for humanitarian service with his students. Following his training in Fort Benning, Georgia, MSG Coleman served - over the course of 22 years - in Panama, Kuwait, Iraq, Kosovo, as well as four tours to Afghanistan. As a highly decorated military officer, MSG Coleman is the recipient of over 30 commendations and high honor awards including three Bronze Star Medals, Two Meritorious Service Medals and four Army Commendation Medals.

In addition to teaching in the School of Management, Instructor Coleman has been an active service member of the Dons Battalion since 2012. Working within USF's Army ROTC (Reserve Officers Training Corps) Program, Instructor Coleman sees the program producing graduates with a considerable competitive advantage, whether they're considering military or civilian careers.  

Raised in Galveston, Texas, Master Sergeant Morell Coleman enlisted in August 1986 and attended Basic Infantryman Course One Station Unit Training (OSUT) at Fort Benning, Georgia. He is married to Nancy Coleman and they have three sons and two daughters.
