Yannet Interian, Ph.D.

Yannet’s research interests are in the area of data mining and applied statistics using large-scale datasets, as they apply to problems in advertising, viral media and on-line social networks. She holds a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Cornell University and a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Havana, Cuba. She has been working at Google for five years as a Data Scientist, currently at Google Plus and previously at Google TV Ads and YouTube. In her spare time, Yannet is an amateur woodworker.
