Adjunct professor, received his B.A. Latin American Literature
from Universidad de San Marcos in Lima, Peru, and holds an M.A. and
Ph.D. in Hispanic Languages and Literature from Boston University.
His areas of interest include literature of the Andean and Amazon
regions of Latin America, specifically poetry, oral tradition and
testimony.
