Stephen N. Katsouros, S.J., Ed.D.

Assistant Professor, Catholic Educational Leadership Program, Director, Institute for Catholic Educational Leadership

Fr. Katsouros has a strong background in private and Jesuit education and served as president of New York's Loyola School for nine years. He has taught on the middle school, high school, and college level and has worked in various administrative positions. Fr. Katsouros earned his master's degree in administration at Harvard University and his doctorate in education from Teacher's College at Columbia University where his research focused on the characteristics of effective, high-performing boards of trustees. He entered the Society of Jesus in 1987 and was ordained a Jesuit priest in 1998. Since ordination, Fr. Katsouros has been assigned to many leadership positions and has served on several boards, including serving as president of the Guild of Independent Schools of New York City.
