Chisako Cole received an M.A. in TESOL from Teachers College,
Columbia University and a B.M. in Voice Performance from Boston
University. She has taught ESL at New York University, The City
University of New York, UC Berkeley, the University of San
Francisco and Academy of Art University. She has assisted with
Japanese to English translations and enjoys researching innovative
ways of bringing investigative learning to ESL teaching.
