Niki Gibbons, M.A., PPS
Adjunct Faculty
Niki Gibbons has been a School Counselor in San Francisco
Unified School District for 20 years. Her experience includes
working at the Elementary and Secondary levels, in the following
schools: Edison Elementary, Washington High School, Giannini Middle
School; Head Counselor at Hoover Middle School, and Woodside
Learning Center, SFUSD Court Schools at Juvenile Hall. She worked
as a School Counselor at a Continuation High School in the East Bay
for 5 years prior to coming to SFUSD. Currently, she is a new
member of the project implementation team that will be deploying
the new Student Information System in San Francisco USD. Her
previous experience includes organizing and working with community
groups; focus in community based organizations. She loves teaching,
supervision, new ideas, and creativity, and is inspired by the work
that the Graduate Students do. She has three adult children, and
three grandchildren and feels truly blessed.
