Marlene Mahony

Marlene Mahony has been teaching rhetoric, writing, literature, and ESL since 1998. She received her MFA in creative nonfiction from USF, and both her MA in British literature and her TESOL certificate from SDSU, where she taught in the Rhetoric and Writing Department full time for six years. She earned her BA in English literature from USD and did foreign study programs in Mexico and Italy, to study the languages, and in England to study Shakespeare. She has been in USF's Rhetoric and Language Department since 2005 , where she teaches various levels of Rhetoric and Composition as well as Composition for Multilingual students. She also teaches Honors English at St. Mary's College, which focuses on rhetoric and social justice.
