Patrick Collins
Adjunct Professor
Patrick J. Collins is a principal
of the independent investment counsel firm of Schultz Collins
Lawson Chambers, Inc. In addition to advising individuals, he
provides investment analysis for trustees of family trusts,
foundations, endowments. Additionally, Mr. Collins provides
litigation support services for disputes involving fiduciary law
issues. He is a member of the CFA Institute, The Security Analysts
of San Francisco, and the Society of Financial Service
Professionals.
He has made presentations to both
the Tax Section and the Estate and Probate Section of the Bar
Associations of San Francisco, Alameda, and Los Angeles counties
and is a three-time national faculty member (2001, 2008 and 2011)
for ALI-ABA national conferences on "Representing Estate and Trust
Beneficiaries and Fiduciaries." He is the author or co-author of
over three dozen published articles. He holds a Professional
Designation in Financial Planning from UC Berkeley as well as a
Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) degree from the American College
in Bryn Mawr, PA.
