Raised in Payson, Arizona, SFC Rasmussen enlisted in February 1995 and attended 19D Armored Reconnaissance Specialist One Station Unit Training (OSUT) at Fort Knox, KY. He is married to Cindy Rasmussen and they have one son. He joined the Don's Battalion in March 2009.
