Jake McGoldrick has a B.A. in
American Studies and an M.A. in English, with a concentration in
TESL from San Francisco State University. He has also studied at
LaSalle College, the Unviersity of Madrid and the University of
Santander, Spain. He has taught English, Spanish and French at high
schools in San Francisco and ESL at community colleges and
universities in the San Francisco Bay Area. He has been involved in
San Francisco City government for many years and served as
Supervisor of the Richmond District in San Francisco for two
four-year terms, from January 2001 - January 2009. He has taught
ESL at the University of San Francisco since 1990.
