Christine Yeh, Ph.D.

Professor, Counseling Psychology

Dr. Yeh is the Coordinator of the School of Education School Counseling Program. From 1998-2006 she was a Professor and Coordinator of the School Counseling Program at Teachers College, Columbia University. Her interests include developing school-based intervention programs for culturally diverse and immigrant children and youth and facilitating school counselor collaborations with teachers, staff, and outside agencies and organizations. She has worked extensively with low-income, urban diverse school systems and has created and offered numerous training activities for school counselors, teachers, and other school staff. She was Principal Investigator of a 5-year NIMH grant examining the cultural adjustment, academic achievement, and mental health of recent immigrant students (2003-2008).
