Timothy Loney brings to USF over 35
years of service as an educator in the field of organizational change
management. Dr. Loney helps his
students approach various kinds of organizational transformation, encouraging
them to rigorously investigate not only internal behaviors and processes, but
also their external effects on individuals, communities and the environment.
teaches a range of subjects that include systems theory and application,
economics and finance, business and public policy. With explorations into organizational analysis,
diagnosis, intervention, strategy, design, creation and implementation of
effective programs, human resource training and management, he hopes to prepare his students for
careers as leaders in the public and nonprofit sectors.
Dr. Loney’s research, articles and
presentations emphasize cooperation and strategic process change. His work has been published in leading
journals on public administration and management, including Quality Digest, International Journal of
Public Administration, Personnel Journal, Public Administration Review, Public
Manager, and Public Personnel
