Joel Oberstone

Professor

Joel Oberstone has been teaching at the University of San Francisco since 1986, after teaching at USC, UCLA, and Pepperdine University. Joel has received several awards from both USF and other universities, including the Doctoral Dissertation Distinction Award and the Carnegie-Mellon Foundation Doctoral Fellowship Awards. He works as a consultant that includes a client list of Microsoft, Synopsys, KQED Television, ABC and NBC Television Networks, Women's Trust (Bank of America). Joel also writes a regular column for the Wall Street Journal Europe using sports analytics.
