Daniel Blakley

Professor

Professor Daniel Blakley began teaching at USF in 1981, and has since won awards and recognition for almost every course he has taught. Daniel has been awarded the PMBA Outstanding Teaching Award, MBA Student Award for Teaching Excellence, the Outstanding Service Award, and the EMBA Student Awards for Teaching Excellence three times. Daniel was also granted a Fulbright Fellowship for his research on global economics.

As a Fulbright scholar, Daniel was a visiting professor at the City University of London and the Norwegian School of Management. Daniel's research has also been widely published, and he recently presented his paper; "Foreign Produced Content and Japanese Price Disinflation:An Empirical Study" with fellow USF professor Peggy Takahashi at the Global Business and International Management Conference in Portland, Oregon. Daniel's research articles have also been published internationally in journals such as; Journal of International Management Studies (2), South Africa Journal of Economics and Management Science, African Finance Journal, South African Business Review,International Journal of Management, Simulation, Journal of Financial Management and Analysis, European Journal of Operational Research and Management International Review. Daniel's current research interest is the analysis of price disinflation in Asia. Daniel received his Ph.D. and Masters of Economics from Duke University. He also received his MBA in Managerial Economics and Corporate Finance from Duke University. Daniel is currently teaching Global Macroeconomic Analysis in the MBA program at the USF School of Management.

Daniel is currently teaching Global Macroeconomic Analysis in the MBA program at the USF School of Management.
