Art Bell
Department Chair / Professor
Art Bell holds his Ph.D. in English from Harvard
University and is Executive Director of MBA Programs and Professor
of Management Communication at the Masagung Graduate School of
Management. Previously he held teaching and administrative
positions in the Business Schools and English Departments at
Georgetown University and the University of Southern California. He
is a member of the Association for Business Communication, ASCAP,
and National Speakers Association. Art serves on several corporate
boards and is Director of Leadership Thinking for SNP Communications, San
Francisco.
Art's personal consulting client list includes Charles
Schwab, Wells Fargo, Citibank, American Stores, the U.S. Navy, TRW,
Safeway, Cisco, Sun Microsystems, British Telecom, PriceWaterhouse
Coopers, Cost Plus World Market, Deutsche Telekom, the U.S. Coast
Guard, New York Life, the U.S. State Department, and IBM.
On the personal side, Art is an aspiring (but not inspiring) jazz
pianist, determined carpenter, syndicated newspaper columnist, and
civic leader. He lives in Belvedere, CA with his wife, Dayle (also
a business professor), and his two daughters.
