US Embassy (1-10-5 Akasaka, Minato-ku, Tokyo)
http://usembassy.state.gov/tokyo
The US Embassy is the first place we visited in our tour. We had a discussion with 5
officers regarding the current political, diplomatic, and economic situation between
US and Japan. The discussion developed to cultural and gender issues in Japan.
It was good for us to start our tour by visiting the embassy for two reasons.
First, everything in the building was familiar to us, which made us feel comfortable.
Second, we could get additional knowledge about Japan before we met company executives.

The Seiko Instruments is one of the core companies of the Seiko Group, a leading
manufacturer of watches and electronic devices in Japan.
We met the President(CEO), Senior Vice President, the President of its subsidiary etc.
They introduced us their current strategy and various new projects describing the present
trend in both Japanese and global markets.
