Data Sets
To download any of these data sets for research purposes, use the following
steps (based on Netscape):
Step 1. Click on File in theupper left-hand corner of your screen.
Step 2. Click on Save As.
Step 3. Use any file name you wish. Depending on which versions of Excel
and browser you are using, you may have to replace the file extension ".html"
with ".xls".
Step 4. Click on Save.
Step 5. Return to Excel and open the file. Excel may need to "parse"
or modify the file in some manner. This is especially true whenever you
if for some reason you cannot save the file and must resort to Copy/Paste.
In that case, use the Data/Text to Columns command and follow the instructions.
You may have to try a few times to get it working correctly for you particular
configuration.
