Up and Out

Consider it an act of concentration
To walk two city blocks, observing all
The people and the storefronts as you pass.

No preconceptions should be able to
Determine what you see in front of you;
Put aside for once all advertisers.

Life is more alive than filtered vision;
More unique than not, in each expression.
Look up and out, not at the text we're given.
