Turnstile Inhibitions

Switched back, laid off,
Trollop hair for rent.
No such conjugation--
Frivolous intent.

Summary dismissal,
Tears do not avail.
Wrong-headed wandering
Along a badger trail.

Hunger after sundown,
Feet too numb to feel.
Bits of broken pavement
Make a martyr's meal.
