Gopher Alert

A gopher who has gone to ground
     Is one who's satisfied.
He likes to stay beneath the soil
     And from the sunshine hide.

Above the ground, his looks are fierce;
     He runs from side to side.
His teeth are big and scary and
     His eyes are bulging wide.

But help him find the hole he's lost
     And you will make a friend.
He'll dive into the ground and then
     You'll see his tiny end.
