Allies Program Training
The Allies program is looking for students, staff, and faculty interested in becoming trainers for the USF Allies Program. Those interested in becoming Allies Trainers must:
Complete the three other training sessions (April 15, 22, and 29). The training series sessions will go from 2 PM to 5 PM, and will take place in the Intercultural Center (UC 411).
Allies Workshop open to all! For those interested in learning how one can be a better ally for , please come and participate in a 100-minute Ally workshop! The workshops are designed to provide participants with knowledge, awareness, and skills that may help them advocate, and create a more welcoming space for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Questioning, and Intersex communities, and their allies (LGBTQQIA) people. The Third Annual Lavender Graduation Ceremony
On May 17th, The Third Annual Lavender Graduation Ceremony will take place at 11:30am in McLaren 250. The goal of the ceremony is to promote excellence among the GLBTQ and Ally community and recognize the achievements of its diverse members.
At the ceremony, there will be six awards given to students and faculty/staff whom have displayed a commitment to the LGBTQ community as well as performing well in their academic studies.
