Haight Ashbury Food Program
HAFP is a food program that offers free meals to anyone and everyone who walks in the door. They serve lunch Tuesday-Friday and have started a food pantry on Mondays to give out free groceries. We will be serving people lunch on Fridays this year from 11-1:30. We get to eat when we get there, so come hungry. Meet at 10:30 am in front of the library on Friday to walk over with us.

Salvation Army Tenderloin Central Corps
The Tenderloin Corps of the Salvation Army runs an after school program for kids ages 6-12 in the Tenderloin. They have a very multi-ethnic group of kids who are a lot of fun. We will be helping kids with homework, playing games, and going to the playground (basically loving on kids). We will normally be going on THURSDAYS, meeting at 1:30 to take the bus down there and finishing between 5-5:30 pm. This week we will be going FRIDAY(9/7) and meeting there at 2pm. If you are interested in going, please email Emily at tazusa2@yahoo.com or call her at (858) 774-8246 for directions and a meeting place.
