USF 3RD ANNUAL INTERNAL BUSINESS PLAN COMPETITION

Business Plans are due Friday October 31 at 5pm.

Plans should be 5 to 8 pages in length and must include a title page. All sections of your plan should be in one document.
Team members may include undergraduate students or friends from elsewhere, but only current USF graduate students (from any graduate program) will be allowed to present at the competition.

BUSINESS PLAN
Please be sure to address the following topics in your plan. You can do this in any way or order that makes sense for you, but please do start with your company name and brief description.
1. Company name & brief description. (Explaining the concept clearly and persuasively is key!)
2. Opportunity or Problem in the market you wish to exploit. What is the pain point?
3. How does your product/service address the problem or opportunity?
4. Who are your current and potential competitors, and what is your company's sustainable competitive advantage?
5. Target market specifications (demographics) and size. How many people, how many $?
6. Marketing and sales strategy to reach target market & projected % penetration: years 1 - 5.
7. Business Model (i) supply/production/distribution strategy, (ii) projected revenue streams, and (iii) margins.
8. Summary of projected revenue/profit based on penetration of target market. For example:
