Bonnie Steinbock is Professor of Philosophy in the Department of Public Policy in Rockefeller College and the Department of Health Policy and Management in the School of Public Health, all at the University at Albany, State University of New York. She has appeared as a guest to discuss cloning on Court TV, Cochran & Grace, Japanese Public Television and the News Hour with Jim Lehrer, PBS. She has served on many bioethics social policy study and advisory groups such as the New York State Task Force on Clinical Guidelines and Medical Technology Assessment. Among her many publications in the field are: Killing and Letting Die (Prentice-Hall, 1994), New Ethics for the Public's Health (West, forthcoming), and "The NBAC Report on Cloning Human Beings: What it Did-and Did Not-Do," Jurimetrics (Fall, 1997).
