Lesson Plan - 50 State Quarters Program
Rubric for the 50 State Quarters Program Lesson
During this lesson, students will produce two products. First, they should be creating a web page with pop up fields to explain their chosen state's quarter design. The second product is to design a quarter for a state that has not yet issued their quarter. The following rubric can be used to assess these two products. Some modification may be required to use this rubric for both products.
The following rubric is adapted from original work done by Al Rogers, Global SchoolNet Foundation and CyberFair Contest and further adapted by Clarence Bakken and Sara Armstrong in conjunction with Challenge 2000, CTAP Region IV Technology Leadership Academy and the Institute for Research on Learning.
