To create and modify images in Photoshop:
1. After you have downloaded images for your quarter, open all of the images, including your blank quarter, in Photoshop:

2. If you need to resize any image, go to the Image menu,
Image Size. Make sure Constrain Proportions box is checked.
When you decrease the pixel width, the pixel
height should automatically decrease:

3. To add images to your quarter face, you will need to create
layers. First, go to the Rectangular Marquee Tool button. If you want to change
the Marquee to a circle, click
and hold on the button and select Elliptical Marquee Tool.

4. Go to the first image you want to layer on your quarter. Outline it with the Marquee tool and got to Edit, Copy. Go back to the quarter image and Edit, Paste.
5. Once your first image is on the quarter, you should see a Layer 1 in the Layers Window

6. Just as you did with the text, you may modify any layer by
going to Layer, Layer Style. You may want to give the same effect as
the text (Inner Shadow, Bevel
and Emboss). If the image is color and you want to change it to black
and white, go to Image, Mode, Grayscale. Always be sure you are altering
the correct layer by
looking in the Layers Window to see which layer you are working on.
7. When you have completed your image, it is time to save it
in web format. Go to File, Save for Web. A window will open up. Select
JPEG as your file type, Medium
quality and hit Save. Name the file your state and save it in your
folder.
